Monday was Columbus Day - Grace, Hannah and I took the opportunity to escape to Sawkaw Lake, Manistee for weekend of camping. The camping site was a primitive site, meaning there wasn't any bathroom facilities, but it also meant that there was no huge crowds of people. Grace was nearer to the site, and she was already set-up when Hannah and I reached the location. There was only a few campsites around the lake, and the whole place was very serene.
We set-up our tent, and started exploring around the lake. It was the beginning of Fall, and the leaves were turning into a colorful display of yellow, red and gold! And there were weird, pretty mushrooms everywhere as well. Jet and Lilith, on the other hand, did not really care about the Fall colors nor the mushrooms - all they wanted were to run around the place without their leashes on!
Enjoy the photos :)
