It took me this long. Finally, I am ready to write this. Jet passed away from adrenal cancer on April 18th, 2020. When we came back from our Singapore trip, we realized that Jet had been acting weird - he couldn't really run, he had lost a lot of his muscle mass, and had been drinking lots of water. It didn't really crossed my mind (and I blamed myself for it) that he had been suffering. I searched the web, and thought that he was getting in his age. What prompted us to bring him to see the vet was that his wound on the tip of his tail kept opening up.
We thought we had a few more months with him, but things took a turn for the worse. Within a week, he went from diagnose with cancer to pass-away.
From Jet, I learnt:
- Small steps. I do not need to make big success, just making small steps towards the final goal.
- Patience. Most times things doesn't turn out the way we want. It is frustrating, it is sad.. just be patient and eventually things will work out
- Have fun. If it is not fun, it is a chore - so remember to have fun.
Jet, thank you. You are my best friend.
