Burnt City brewery

Two weekends ago, Grace came over for a visit, and we decided to head to Burnt City Brewery for lunch. It was the weekend when the Blues Festival was in full bloom at Millennium Park, so we strategically avoided the crowd, and went over to the other side of town to enjoy a beer or two :)

The place was delightfully empty when we were there, and it could be either due to most of the people were at the Blues Festival or it was still in the afternoon. We started the meal with a really nice starter - Totchos! Hannah ordered Smoked Chicken Sandwich, Grace had Cavatappi Mac n' Cheese, and I enjoyed my Burnt City Burnt Tips.

It is a brewery, and we  definitely enjoyed some great drinks. Between Grace, Hannah and I, we sampled a couple of good beer, but I can only remember - Dick the Butcher and Pterodactyl Deathscream!

The place is not cheap, but we do indulge in ourselves once in a while :)
